Props

The gun in this scene shows that the character Chris Jennings is serious about what he does and wants too and gets his gun out to impress his colleague, this prop is essential to Chris’s character because he is meant to be a gunman for the operation who controls the people and doesn’t let anything get out of control. This is obviously a gun to a viewer of this film and it being black highlights the danger of it.
This phone lets the Don contact all his workers and specialists for the various jobs he needs people to do, it is quite a plain phone which a normal person would have, he is shown ringing one of his specialists in the film opening.
This is the Don’s laptop which he puts all his sensitive information on to do with all the jobs he has going on at the moment, he needs this laptop to run his whole operation. it is used in the same scene as the phone to run his whole operation
This is Jacob Greens phone he uses for the contact from the Don, it is a nice phone which shows that Jacob likes to work in style. We used this instead of any other phone because we thought this one would look professional because of the colour and style.

We did not have much choice on the car we could use because it is the only car we could use, however it is black and we cleaned it up to make it look stylish and professional like a ‘businessman’ would own it.

These are the props that the characters in our film use to help the storyline, I have explained what each prop is used for and why it is in the film, some props I have not included because they are not relevant to the story line.

From examining all the props I have used it has made me think about all the props that are used in a full length film and all the thought that must go behind each one.
